With guitar and harmonica that feel like extensions of himself, he delivers raw, lived-in performances. Influenced by the lyricism of Zach Bryan and Jason Isbell, Alex writes to forge that same deep connection with listeners. His singles, “Postcards From A Ghost Town” and “Ride,” reflect his time in the Pacific Northwest and the pull of home in Texas.

Located in the Austin, TX area, Jay plays shows at local venues all over Central Texas. ay has been influenced by many artists over the years, but especially pulls inspiration from artists such as Buddy Guy, Albert King, BB King, Muddy Waters, and more. This can be seen in Jay's set list which includes original songs as well as covers from blues artists, both classic and modern.
